Screw conveyors
The screw conveyors manufactured by CAMImpianti have been planned in order to obtain the highest possible standard in the transportation of materials in powders and granules.
The bushes of the intermediate supports can be supplied in the following materials: mekton, bronze, teflon, according to the products that must be conveyed.
The supports at the extremities are flanged, with bearings protected by dustproof coverings, or of the spaced model; all with stuffing seal. The lids are bolted to the box (only in the CCU model).
The safety shutter is equipped with a micro switch for the signalling or the lockout. The protruding shaft for the application of the engine can be indifferently supplied for one or the other side of the conveyor; the standard engine group consists in a gearbox with chain transmission.
Some special models for foodstuffs have already become a standard, as regards both the used materials and the manufacturing, especially equipped to avoid deposits of the product.
Models:
- CCU model with trough-shaped box built in a standard range of sizes, varying from 150 mm
(minimum screw diameter) to 500 mm (maximum screw diameter). The length can exceed 30
meters
- CLT model with tubular box built in a standard range of sizes, varying from 100 mm (minimum screw diameter) to 350 mm (maximum screw diameter). The length can exceed 30 meters
Versions:
- in carbon steel
- in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel
Machinery above described could be supplied also in ATEX version if required.
